Article 1. Definitions

1. Lessor: Slow Fox Boat Rental, established in Alkmaar.

2. Lessee: The natural or legal person entering into the agreement.

3. Vessel: The luxury motor yacht "Slow Fox" (Sessa Oyster 35).

Article 2. Conclusion of Agreement

The agreement is established after confirmation of the reservation by the lessor and receipt of the agreed deposit.

Article 3. Payment & Cancellation

1. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required upon booking. This is non-refundable.

2. The remaining amount must be paid before the start of the trip.

3. In case of bad weather (storm, thunder, or official weather warning code orange/red), the trip can be rescheduled free of charge. Rain is not grounds for free cancellation; the ship is covered.

Article 4. House Rules & Safety

1. Wearing high heels on board is not permitted to protect the teak deck.

2. Smoking is not permitted in the covered areas on board.

3. Pets are not allowed on board.

4. The instructions of the captain must be followed at all times for safety purposes.

Article 5. Liability

1. The lessee is liable for damage to the vessel or inventory caused by careless use or misconduct by the lessee or their party.

2. The lessor is not liable for personal injury or loss/theft of personal belongings of the lessee.

Article 6. Force Majeure

If the lessor cannot make the vessel available due to force majeure (e.g., mechanical failure), the lessee is entitled to a full refund but has no right to further compensation.
